• The SIM card is not recognised because it doesn’t sit properly in the damaged tray.

The part comes from the official Google spare parts programme and carries the manufacturer part number G852-05145-05 – the same component an authorised repair centre installs, not a copy. It fits the Google Pixel 10a with model number G4H7L. Choose the colour to match your device – the easiest way is to compare it with the part you removed.

What installation involves

The tray simply slides in – you need no tools apart from a SIM pin. Make sure the card is facing the right way.
