Principle
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only collect data that we need to process your order and to operate the shop.
What data we process
Order data: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, items ordered, payment method. We need this data to fulfil the contract and to meet our statutory retention obligations (ten years under the Code of Obligations).
Customer account: if you create an account, we also store your login details and order history. You can have the account deleted at any time.
Server log files: when you visit the site, the IP address, time, page visited, browser type and operating system are logged automatically. This data serves secure operation and is deleted after a short time.
Enquiries: if you write to us, call us or fill in the «No-obligation request» form, we process the resulting data to answer your enquiry. For the form, this is the brand and model of your device, the spare part you are looking for, first name, last name, email address, your phone number if provided, and your preferred way of being contacted. If you choose WhatsApp, we reply via WhatsApp; WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) privacy policy then also applies.
Cookies
We use technically necessary cookies so that the cart, login and ordering process work. These cannot be deselected without making the shop unusable. In addition, Google sets cookies for advertising measurement (see «Google Ads and advertising measurement»). You can object to this at any time.
Google Ads and advertising measurement
We advertise this shop with Google Ads and Google Shopping. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA.
With the Google tag we measure whether a visit came from one of our ads and whether it led to an order (conversion measurement). The order number and order value are transmitted, but no names, addresses or email addresses. The Google tag does not run on the checkout itself.
For this measurement Google sets cookies in your browser. You can object at any time: Turn off Google advertising measurement in this browser. After that, the Google tag only measures without cookies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser at any time.
We transmit our product data (items, prices, images) to the Google Merchant Center so that it appears in Google Shopping. No personal data is transferred.
More on data processing by Google: policies.google.com/privacy. You can turn off personalised advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
Disclosure to third parties
We only pass on data where this is necessary for processing: to the logistics partner for shipping, to the payment service provider for payment processing, to Google for advertising measurement (see «Google Ads and advertising measurement»), to our hosting provider, and to authorities if we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
We keep data for as long as necessary for the purpose or as required by statutory periods, and delete it afterwards.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data processed about you, as well as to correction, deletion and data portability. A request to [email protected] is sufficient. We may ask for proof of identity.
Security
Data is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Changes
We may amend this policy. The version published on this page at the time applies.
