This flex cable is a flat, flexible circuit inside the Galaxy S21 that connects assemblies to each other.
When the main flex cable needs replacing
- The display or touch fails, even though the display itself is fine.
- The image flickers or drops out when the device is moved.
- The cable is torn or a connector is damaged.

The part comes from the official Samsung spare parts programme and carries the manufacturer part number GH82-28161A – the same component an authorised repair centre installs, not a copy. It fits the Galaxy S21 with model number SM-G991B.
What installation involves
Flex cables are delicate: only pull connectors off and push them on straight, and don’t kink the cable. The device has to be opened for the replacement.
