The back cover is the rear of the OnePlus Nord CE: it closes off the housing at the back and protects the battery and internals from dust and knocks.

When the back cover needs replacing

• The back has cracked or broken after a fall.
• The cover sticks out at one edge or has come loose.
• The back is so badly scratched or damaged that you want to replace it.

The part comes from the official OnePlus spare parts programme and carries the manufacturer part number 2011100326 – the same component an authorised repair centre installs, not a copy. Choose the colour to match your device – the easiest way is to compare it with the part you removed.

What installation involves

The back cover is glued on. It is loosened with heat; afterwards all adhesive residue must be removed thoroughly before the new cover is fitted and pressed on evenly for a while.
